LONESTAR
Mondioring Club
Dedicated to promoting the sport of Mondioring in the USA.

About Us
Lonestar Mondioring Club (LSMRC) is an active training club.  We meet at least once weekly for training and typically host two mondioring trials each year.  We hosted the first USMRA Trial in January of 2000 and have been going strong ever since.

It truly "takes a village" to train a mondioring dog and no where is this spirit more evident than at a training session of the Lonestar Mondioring Club.  Although each member is responsible for his/her own training, there is no shortage of willing hands and minds to help get teams ready for trial and to help green dogs and handlers get off to a solid start.

Club members range from relative "newbies" to those with great depth and breadth of experience in Mondioring.  Club members include a USMRA Judge, USMRA Apprentice Judge, USMRA Certified Decoy, USMRA Officers and Board Members, and a former USMRA Level II decoy and Chairman of the Decoy Committee.  Club members bring experience from other working dog sports and disciplines as well; please click on the "Honor Roll" link to see some of our club dogs and all they and their handlers have accomplished.

Our first attempt at a long jump...the key was upside down, the paint wasn't dry, but it sure looked pretty and we sure had fun!  Click on the photo to see more pictures from that historic trial.
